The organization Nispana Innovative Platforms, a Bangalore based company has organised an event titled Alternative Energy India Summit. The event would be held on 9th - 10th February 2012 at Mahatma Mandir convention hall, Gandhinagar, Gujarat
In this time of energy crisis, the state and central governments are realizing the importance of moving towards Renewable energy sources.Although India being first country to set up division of renewable energy in the ministry (Ministry of New and Renewable Energy - MNRE), its potential is still not utilized. Solar, Wind, hydro & biomass collectively - Renewable energy counts for around 10% of the total energy production in India.
So the Alternative Energy India Summit would focus primarily on wind and solar energy. The government bodies, companies around the world, independent consultants and may others would be attending to discuss current scenario and development of Renewable energy, as Gujarat is considered a Hot spot for solar energy after their attractive tariff rates and friendly government policies and also for the Solar Park in Kutch.
The agenda would be to grow the renewable energy sector, regulatory challenges and Energy management focussing on solar and wind energy. The Summit would also feature many manufacturing companies, instrumentation companies, developers and other EPC companies.
Please feel free to share your views before/after the event.
